A Branson wedding can cost as little as $195 or as much as $18,000 for the venue alone. At the low end, Dogwood Chapel‘s couple-only package is $195, and the Log Chapel of the Ozarks runs $299–$479 with a minister and witnesses included. In the middle, a 100-guest wedding with catering at an all-inclusive chapel venue is listed at about $6,900–$9,950. At the top, a full retreat package with lodging for 150 guests at Bear Creek is $17,995.
For most couples, the realistic total lands somewhere between about $3,000 for a 25-guest wedding and $10,000–$13,000 for 100 guests, before attire and rings. Here’s where that money goes.

Photography
Starting prices on The Knot for photographers serving Branson:
- Janie Loftin Photography (Branson): from $1,600
- Jennifer Quinn Photography (Republic): from $1,600
- Faith Marie Photography (Springfield): from $1,200
- ellakphotography (Springfield): from $2,400
- Shalyn O’Neal Photography (Rogersville): from $2,500
- Budget picks: Ice-Bell Photography (Harrison, AR) from $495; Love & Photos (Springfield) from $550

Flowers and Catering
Flowers: Branson-area florists such as Rosewood Floral (Branson), Cassidy Flower Co. and He Loves Me Flowers list themselves as “affordable” to “moderate” on The Knot, but don’t post dollar figures. Ask for quotes on a bouquet, boutonnieres and a few centerpieces. The Log Chapel’s $479 package includes a bouquet and boutonniere.
Catering: None of the chapels above post per-person catering prices. Bear Creek’s Happily Ever After package bundles catering, and Dooley’s works from a preferred vendor list or lets you bring your own. Get two caterer quotes for your guest count before you pick a venue, because food is usually the biggest variable after the venue.

Two Sample Budgets: 25 Guests and 100 Guests
These are estimates built from the published prices above. Your flowers and catering quotes will change them.
25 guests, all at one venue:
- Bear Creek “The Gathering” (ceremony, cake and punch reception, 1 hour of photos): $2,495
- Extra photography (e.g., a local photographer from $1,200–$1,600): optional
- Flowers: quote on request
- Estimated total: about $2,500–$4,100 + flowers
100 guests, ceremony and reception with dinner:
- Bear Creek “Happily Ever After” for 100 guests: within the $6,895–$9,945 range
- Photographer for full coverage: about $1,600–$2,500
- Flowers: quote on request
- Estimated total: about $8,500–$12,500 + flowers
Prefer a lakeside venue? Dooley’s Classic package ($3,500–$4,500) plus your own caterer can land in a similar range, depending on the per-plate quote.
Peak Tourist Season and What It Does to Your Bill
Branson’s busiest stretch is summer, Memorial Day through Labor Day. The Christmas season in November and December is close behind and growing, according to the Springfield Business Journal‘s look at Branson visitor numbers. During those weeks:
- Hotel rates rise and room blocks fill fast.
- Shows and attractions draw heavy traffic on the main strip.
- Weekend venue dates go first.
The cheapest window is usually January through early March, when crowds are lightest. Dooley’s offers its ceremony-only package on off-season weekends, which is a direct saving.

Ways to Spend Less in Branson
- Marry on a weekday. Dooley’s elopement and ceremony-only packages and Bear Creek’s ceremony fee are weekday deals.
- Choose an all-in package. Bear Creek’s Gathering bundles the venue, cake and photos for under $2,500.
- Keep the guest list under 15–25. The chapel packages jump in price by guest count.
- Avoid summer and the Christmas season. You’ll save on rooms for out-of-town guests.
- Skip printed invitations. A wedding website template with RSVP built in is a one-time purchase with no monthly fee, and it can hold your hotel suggestions and directions to the chapel.
You’ll also need a Missouri marriage license from the Taney County Recorder of Deeds in Forsyth. Call ahead for the current fee and hours.
